Youths and Environmental Advocacy Centre (YEAC) has concluded yet another four days organizational capacity development training program on Social Research and Data Analysis in Rivers State. The training which was organized by the European Union under the Agents for Citizens-Driven Transformation (EU-ACT) program started from Tuesday, October 12 to Friday, October 15, 2021 for selected civil society organizations in Rivers State and facilitated by Ismaila Zango Mohammed, a Professor of the Sociology, Department of Sociology and Director, Mambayya House, Amino Kano Centre for Democratic Studies, Bayero University, Kano. Topics covered during the training include Background to Research, Research Process, objectives and Types of Research; Research Design, Over of Data collection Instruments, Questionnaires, Focus Group Discussion, Interviews, Content Analysis. others are Participatory Rapid Appraisal (PRA),  Analysis of qualitative data Analysis and Quantitative data, Use of Computer in Quantitative Data Analysis, Use of Computer in  qualitative data Analysis as well as Types of Report and Steps of Writing Report. (L-R: Bere Letam Noble, Project Officer, YEAC and Prof. Ismaila Zango Mohammed making points during the event)Advocacy Centre was represented at the event by its Executive Director, Fyneface Dumnamene Fyneface and Bere Letam Nobel, Project officer.
