UPDATE ON YEAC vs MR. PLAGIARISM CASE

On Wednesday, November 3, 2021 was the adjoined date for the case in Suit No. PHC/1057/CS/2021 between Youths and Environmental Advocacy Centre (YEAC), Fyneface Dumnamene Fyneface and Mr. Plagiarism over his accusing and threatening us publicly that we stole his idea on Presidential Artisanal Crude Oil Refining Development Initiative (PACORDI).

When all efforts to serve Mr. Plagiarism the Court Processes failed, Advocacy Centre approached the Court with a motion for an order for substituted service on Mr. Plagiarism. The motion could not be taken on September 24, 2021 as the court rose for the Judge to attend to an emergency meeting before our case and many others could be called.

On November 3, the Court sat and the motion was taken. The Court granted Advocacy Centre’s motion and ordered that Mr. Plagiarism be served through substituted means to appear in Court by next adjoined date.

We will give you some more details about this Court Order and the next adjoined date among others in our subsequent communication.

We thank you all for your continuous supports and appreciate our legal team for their great job so far. We urge you all to keep faith with us as we thrive not to disappoint you.

Thank you and best regards from all of us at ADVOCACY CENTRE.

FYNEFACE DUMNAMENE FYNEFACE,
Executive Director, YEAC.
