Youths and Environmental Advocacy Centre (YEAC-Nigerian ) a member of climate Action consortium, is implementing a project tilted creating awareness and institutional capacity on climate change adaptation and mitigation in selected areas in Rivers State. Gokana Local government is selected as one of the catchment areas to benefit from the project. A project funded by the European Union under the EU-ACT program with several components such as Stakeholders consultation, Talk show , jingles Townhall meetings among others. As key components of the project, the dissemination of the materials is geared towards enhancing awareness, early warning signs, mitigations and Adaptations ,west to wealth value chain and Renewable energy practices with Bodo community as first place. Participants were drawn from major stakeholders of Bodo community. The meeting was held in Amona klassic Hotel Saakpenwa in Tai LGA and it recorded success.
