The Youths and Environmental Advocacy Centre (YEAC-Nigeria) on Monday, November 13, marked the Global Wave of Hunger Strike for Climate in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, Nigeria.

The event, which was held on the street at the Kaduna junction flyover area of Port Harcourt, was used to call the attention of both Nigerian and world leaders to the impacts of climate change and call for systemic change to address climate issues as they gather in Dubai, UAE, for the 2023 conference of the parties (COP28) in December.
