Youths and Environmental Advocacy Centre (YEAC-Nigeria) in collaboration with Penny Appeal Canada (PAC) are responding to the flood in Nigeria that killed over six hundred persons and displaced millions with many without food, medication, clean water and hygiene materials. As such, the organizations will be responding to the emergency situation as an intervention for the flood victims by distributing food items and other materials to indigent persons and vulnerable households in Rivers and Bayelsa States to cushion the effect of the flood on the people who are now facing hunger as a result of the flood that destroyed their sources of livelihood. 500 persons and households are to benefit from this food packs, hygiene kits and emergency kits distribution in both Rivers and Bayelsa States to individuals and families in dire need.

As such, Youths and Environmental Advocacy Centre (YEAC-Nigeria) requests for the expression of interest by suitably qualified vendors to supply the following food items;

  1. 500 tubers of Yam
  2. 50 bags of rice
  3. 10 bags of beans
  4. 60 basin of garri
  5. 60 bags of iodized salt
  6. 50 cartons of noodles (Indomie);
  7. 60 rolls of tissue paper;
  8. 60 Mosquito nets;

Interested vendor or vendors must have a registered company or business name with bank accounts, be based in Rivers State and has the capacity to deliver these items within three days from the date of the award of contract. The vendors are to send quotation for all or some of the above listed items that they have the capacity to procure and deliver on record times on their letterheaded paper addressed to;

The application should be submitted in either hard copy by hand or soft copy via email: info@centreadvocacy.org on or before close of work (5PM) on Friday, December 16, 2022. Only vendors with competitive prices and who scale through our due diligence process will be shortlisted, contacted and invited for face-to-face interview on Monday, December 19 and be awarded the contract after signing contract agreement on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 and expected to deliver on the procurement on/or before Friday, December 23, 2022.
