MODULAR REFINERY: ADVOCACY CENTRE RECEIVES A DELEGATION FROM BAYELSA STATE
Advocacy Centre on Monday, December 21, 2020 received a delegation of youths from various communities in Bayelsa State who wanted to learn and know more about our alternative livelihoods interventions for youths involved in artisanal crude oil refining in the Niger Delta.
The awareness and sensitization stakeholders meeting enabled the Executive Director of Youths and Environmental Advocacy Centre (YEAC), Fyneface Dumnamene Fyneface to use available materials to brief the youths who returned satisfied and committed to partnering with Advocacy Centre to advocate for environmental sustainability by mobilizing more artisanal refiners to embrace the Modular Refinery initiative and
called on the Federal Government to approve the Presidential Artisanal Crude Oil Refining Development Initiative -PACORDI for the Niger Delta region like we have the Presidential Artisanal Gold Mining Development Initiative -PAGMI for parts of the North and Western Nigeria.
