ADVOCACY CENTRE CONCLUDES EU-ACT’S 4TH SERIES CAPACITY STRENGHTENINING PROGRAMS

Two members of staff of Youths and Environmental Advocacy Centre (YEAC) today concluded with others, a 3-day capacity strengthening training program for civil society organizations organized by British Council and European Union (EU) in the EU Agents for Citizen-Driven Transformation (EU-ACT) Program in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital. The training program which was the 4th in the series which started after organizational capacity assessment in August 2020 was focused on “Fundraising and Resource Mobilization” in which participants were trained on fundraising, resource mobilization, concept note, proposal writing and budgeting among others. Between January and May 26, 2021, Advocacy Centre’s organizational capacity has been strengthened in various areas including trainings on Organizational Capacity Review and Invitation to ACT-CSO Workshop to develop individual CSO Action PlanAction Plan Development, Project Circle Management (PCM), Financial Management (FM), Understanding Advocacy Action Planning and Adopting a Human Rights-Based Approach, Action Plan Development, etc.
