ADVOCACY CENTRE CREATES AWARENESS ON COVID-19, DISTRIBUTES FREE FACE MASKS, INFORMATION, EDUCATION AND COMMUNICATION MATERIALS ON CORONA VIRUS DISEASE IN AHOADA EAST LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF RIVERS STATE
The ADVOCACY CENTRE’S COVID-19 awareness and sensitization campaign being organised in partnership with Land is Life today, August 13, 2020 took campaigned in makeshift markets and motor parks in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Recall that the ADVOCACY CENTRE’S COVID-19 awareness and sensitization campaign was flagged-off in Bori-Ogoni in Khana Local Government Area on July 31 and taken to markets and communities in Etche Local Government area on August 11 and to Ahoada East today where members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers where also sensitized and their chairman commended ADVOCACY CENTRE for visiting the area to creation awareness on the deadly disease. 
ADVOCACY CENTRE will continue to create awareness on COVID-19, related issues and contribute to the advancement of the peoples of the Niger Delta and beyond through its activities and programmes in partnership with both local and international development partners.
